John Blumentritt, a former Alamo A's president, purchased this 1928 Model AA Ford Fire Engine from Utah in August, 2013. The frame up restoration began almost immediately at Jay Pearcy's Ford Model A restoration shop. This included included major body work and touch-up painting, replacement of significant engine components, brakes and running gear repair, restoration of hoses and firefighting equipment, uncovering and discovery of original running boards with Ford script, radiator work, and new tires. The project took five months and was completed in January of 2014. Since then the fire truck has taken part in numerous parades, shows and other events, such as charity fund-raisers.
