Ray WIlliamson and his wife, Neva, are two of the longest serving Alamo A's members. They joined the club in 1971, the same year "Ray's Model A and Repairs" opened for business, which means they have been helping folks with Model A Fords in San Antonio and South Texas for over 40 years. Ray has an encyclopedic knowledge of all the different types of Ford Model A, from two seater convertibles to AA 1 ton trucks. Ray has worked on countless Model A Fords over the years, from relatively minor repairs to full-blown, frame-off restorations. He also has supplied parts for just about everyone in the club, long before the internet made finding quality parts a little easier. Even so, it's so important to have someone who understands the often almost undetectable differences between parts made in different years and for slightly different types of Model A because using the wrong part will inevitably lead to problems down the road, sometimes literally stranding you just when otherwise you were having a wonderful Model A day. After so many years in the game, Ray is no longer undertaking full restorations but he is still doing repair work and, of course, supplying parts at reasonable prices. He sometimes will offer you a choice and will explain the pros and cons of each item.
