After John Blumentritt purchased this 1930 Ford Model A coupe in 1976, it stayed in storage in San Angelo until 2011. After it was brought to San Antonio, the restoration began in January 2012 with Jay Pearcy as the project leader. This was a complete ground-up total restoration. Major efforts included body work and painting, engine and transmission rebuild, brakes, running gear repair, glass replacement, radiator work, new tires, powder-coated wheels and new upholstery. The project took 15 months, ending in April 2013. A snap of the car on its first outing, to an Alamo A's club meeting was randomly taken with a very happy John at the wheel in February 2013, a little before the project was completely finished.
